Two weeks ago,a  police report says Joy Bernaldez sought treatment at the Mandaue District Hospital after Joseph Cardona banged her head against the wall during one of their severe fights.


Saturday 52-year-old  fashion designer Joy Bernaldez, was shot dead by her Australian boy friend Joseph Cardona, December 17, in her Barangay Cabancalan, Mandaue City residence before killing himself using a .22-caliber pistol. It is reported the crazy Cardona also tried to kill her son but he was able to get away,The cause of the fight is not know except Cardona is a abusive ,After he could not catch her son he went to the garage and shot his self in the mouth.Joy who owns J. Berns Exclusives a high end designer store, as she was a very successful fashion designer.
