ABS-CBN announces five new channels for Digital TV broadcasting
In-announce kaninang tanghali, Abril 4, sa press conference na naganap sa ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater, ang nakatakdang paglu-launch ng Kapamilya Network ng DTV o Digital TV. Ang DTV ay ang bagong teknolohiyang gagamitin ng Kapamilya station upang mas lalong makarating ang kanilang signal sa mas nakararaming manonood na Pilipino sa pamamagitan ng digital transmission. Sa paggamit ng digital transmission kaysa sa kasalukuyang analog transmission, mas magiging malakas ang signal, mas malinaw ang mga imahe, at mas klaro ang tunog ng bino-broadcast na palabas ng isang TV station.
